Kajiado main economic activities are Livestock, dairy, tourism, mining, horticulture, real estate, manufacturing.

Kajiado County borders Nairobi, Kiambu, Nakuru, Narok, Machakos, Makueni, Taita-Taveta and Tanzania. Kajiado Town is the headquarters. The county features savannahs and plains extending toward Mount Kilimanjaro. Livestock, tourism, mining, horticulture and real estate support the economy.
